Arizona Republic, The (Phoenix, AZ) - April 21, 2005 Deceased Name: Sylvia Edelstein Goldberg Sylvia Edelstein Goldberg, 93, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away April 19, 2005, in Sun City, Arizona. She is survived by her sons Lawrence and Steven A. Goldberg, sister Ethel D. Crystal, and two grandchildren, Allison R. Saffles and Adam D. Goldberg. During her working years, she owned and operated a children's upscale ready-to-wear store in Sioux City, Iowa. After she and her husband Maurice moved to Sun City, they were involved in many retirement activities. There will be a service for her on Friday, April 22, 2005, at 1:00 P.M. at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Road in Sun City, followed by interment at Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, Arizona 85014. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for their extraordinary care given Sylvia during her last illness. They are a very special group of individuals.
